The Working Band exists because the business side of being in a band has always been harder than it needs to be. We're here to change that.
My name is Curtis, and I've been a drummer for as long as I can remember. Music isn't something I picked up as a hobby — it's been the constant in my life through everything else. From early rehearsals in garages to gigging stages across the region, I've lived the full experience of what it means to be a working musician.
"I've spent years juggling spreadsheets, text threads, and handshake deals just to book a show. There had to be a better way."
Over the years I watched talented bands struggle not because of their music, but because of the logistics — missed opportunities, disorganized tours, no way to track what was happening with their own career. Venues didn't have a great way to connect with bands they hadn't heard of. Promoters were working out of inboxes. Everyone was doing the same manual work over and over.
That frustration eventually turned into a project, and that project turned into The Working Band.
The Working Band is a platform designed to connect every piece of the live music puzzle — bands, venues, promoters, and the people who make shows happen. Our goal is simple: make music happen more often, for more people, with less friction.
This platform isn't built by a tech company that stumbled into the music space. It's built by someone who has been in the van, loaded in through the back door, negotiated a door deal, and played a show to ten people on a Tuesday — and kept showing up anyway.
Every feature on this platform was designed with that experience in mind. We're not trying to be a streaming service or a social network. We're a tool for the musicians, bookers, and venue owners who are putting in the real work to keep live music alive.
If you're a working musician, a club owner who cares about their stage, or a promoter building something real in your city — this platform was built for you.
Join musicians, venues, and promoters already using The Working Band to manage their careers and fill more stages.
